Below are the Champions in Recovery daily affiramtions!
- Champions are not born; they are made and can be found in all walks of life.
- God has great things in store for me.
- When Christ died I was set free from the power of sin. Romans 6:6
- I deserve to have a healthy relationship
- I am worth my own self-love, self-acceptance
- I am worthy of a life free from alcohol addiction
- I want strong self-control that allows me to overcome any habit or addiction
- Today, the Lord my God is with me wherever I go. Joshua 1:9
- I live for recovery because giving back helps my own recovery & my recovery is a priority in my life
- I will only eat healthy food
- If cravings come, I know to reach out for help and act on my relapse prevention plan.
- I will use this day to build upon yesterday’s successes or failures.
- No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17
- Today is a new day and I will strive to reach the goal I so desire to attain.
- I will value my time more
- I will stop eating late at night
- I will be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that my labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
- When stressed I will take a break, a nap, a bath, and re-charge my batteries
- I do not need a job title for what I do daily, I will not be limited by titles
- My body is a temple and I shall treat it with respect, kindness, appreciation and love.
- He who is in me is greater than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4
- Having a healthy relationship is extremely important to me
- I surround myself with people who support me
- I have no need to sleep with loads of people, I can fulfil myself sexually with just one partner
- Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? So, run in such a way to get the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24
- I can do anything I put my efforts towards
- My life matters
- I have the strength to stop comfort eating
- My God is compassionate and merciful – slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Psalm 103:8
- I am a loyal, supportive, and humbled friend
- I do not limit how I see myself nor what I will do in this world
- I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
- I feel super good about myself.
- My health is an investment in my life
- I am more than a number on a scale, or a size for clothing, I refuse to let it affect my self-worth and body image
- I don’t worry about everyday life. God knows my needs and meets them because I make His Kingdom my primary concern.
- I worship the Lord my God and serve only him. Luke 4:8
- I do everything possible to nurture the love I have for my partner
- I am not a burden when I ask for help and support
- My negative feelings don’t come from God, so I don’t have to put up with them! 2 Timothy 1:7
- I deserve all the great things life has to offer
- My life is full of gifts, blessings and joy
- I am surrounded by loving, caring and supportive people
- I guard my heart because it determines the course of my life. Proverbs 4:23
- I see the opposite sex as equals and not as sex objects
- I am letting go of my dependency on the computer games
- I will stop eating when I’m not hungry
- I can allow myself to feel my feelings, and let them pass naturally without overanalyzing
- My life is bringing honor to Christ. God likes this. Philippians 1:20
- When I feel an overwhelming emotion, I can sit with it, let go, repeat the serenity prayer, and let it pass
- I am enjoying the road of recovery one day at a time.
- I deserve respect, and communicate boundaries in my relationships to help create healthy communication skills
- I am learning more and more healthy coping skills each day.
- What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Romans 8:31
- I choose to forgive myself for mistakes made and learn from each one
- God gives me a daily map to follow but the choice is mine to make.
- I am a dynamic individual, unique and creative and have value
- My partner respects and cherishes me
- Because Jesus died for my sins, I am no longer separated from God. I live in close union with him. Romans 5:10
- My body and my spirit are healing
- I choose friends that are supportive and affirming of me.
- My eating habits are improving
- I express my needs, feelings, and communicate them in a respectful manner
- When I call out to God He answers me. He tells me things I wouldn’t know otherwise. Jeremiah 33:3
- Others see me as someone who takes responsibility for their actions
- I rely on my inner gut feelings, to help guide me towards the life I want to live
- I can succeed in this world
- The fruit I produce brings great joy to God, my Father in Heaven. John 15:8
- I am empowered by the ability to choose in any moment
- I am passionate, opinionated, and strong and am not afraid to use my voice
- A bad moment doesn’t mean I am bad, or that my day cannot and will not change paths
- God’s power works best in my weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9
- I will limit the time I spend in front of the computer and use it rationally
- I am empowered in my journey to pursue all my dreams and goals
- Each day I feel closer to my partner
- I do not give power to the SHOULD monster
- God gives me strength when I am weary and increases my power when I am weak. Isaiah 40:29
- I am becoming a healthy eater
- Being free from alcohol addiction has tremendously improved my life
- I am open to learning new things that benefit my growth.
- Through the energy of Christ working powerfully in me, I teach others His truths. Colossians 1:29
- My attitude towards sex and relationships is healthy and positive
- I learn every day more about who I am, what I want to pursue in life
- My passions in life are a strength
- I could not experience an abundant life except for Jesus and the cross. Matthew 16:24
- I have a voice
- I am sober, happy, and no longer trapped by my struggles, but empowered by my choices
- I can deal with anything that comes my way and stay in peace with myself
- For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end. Psalm 48:14
- I embrace opportunities as they come
- Today I will face my fears and even try to break outside my usual self. the norm of who I am
- God keeps me in perfect peace because I trust in Him and fix my thoughts on Him. Isaiah 26:3
- I love my body - my scars wrinkles and all - because they all represent LIVING!
- My relationship is improving each day
- I can’t afford to worry about tomorrow when I’m living for today
- My God meets all my needs. Philippians 4:19
- I will stop reaching for unhealthy food
- I will embrace my life today rather than simply react to it

- I am transforming into someone with a healthy attitude towards sex

- Today, I will work on expressing my needs and feelings
- Because I place my hope in God, I can soar like an eagle, run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
- I have healthy relationships with my partner, friends, and family.
- I am transforming into someone who can control their urges
- I have the courage to let go of control
- I accept ALL of who I am!
- I am filled with Light, Love and Peace.
- As I follow Jesus….as I walk with him, I have peace. Luke 24:36
- I treat myself with kindness and respect
- I am getting healthier thanks to my healthy eating habits
- I give thanks to God because he is good, and his love endures forever. Jeremiah 33:11
- I don’t have to be perfect; I just must be me.
- I am constantly developing and growing my relationship
- I am more than a body; I am body, mind and spirit.
- I have been saved, not by works, but grace, so that I might do good works. Ephesians 2:9-10

- I am letting go of my addiction to alcohol
- People see me as someone who is in control of their own life
- I honor the best parts of myself and share them with others.
- I’m proud of all I have accomplished
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show your which path to take. Proverbs 3: 5-6
- Today I give myself permission to be greater than my fears.
- I face my fears as they come, and I courageously move forward anyway.
- I love myself no matter what.
- My faith makes me whole in spirit, soul and body. Mark 5:34
- I will always eat vegetables at every meal
- I am my own best friend and cheerleader.
- Thank you, God, for giving me the qualities, traits and talents that make me so unique
- I am starting to feel more and more in love
- I will humble myself under the mighty hand of God so that He may exalt me in due time. 1 Peter 5:6

- Taking control of my sexual urges and overcoming my sex addiction is something I am dedicated to
- I am becoming more and more sober with each passing day
- The cross of Christ is my power. 1 Corinthians 1:17
- I will always be honest and loving towards my partner
- I am becoming a responsible and strong individual
- Eating healthy is becoming easier
- God is my refuge and strength …. always ready to help me in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1
- I experience peace and tranquility wherever I am.
- Being free of sex addiction has made a big improvement to my life
- I will take responsibility for my life
- I trust God always because he is my refuge. Psalm 62:8
- I believe I can become a conqueror!
- I can communicate clearly
- God can do immeasurably more in my life than I could ever imagine. Ephesians 3:20
- I will be a wonderful spouse
- I am starting to eat more moderately sized meals
- I experience true life when I deny myself, turn from my selfish ways and follow Jesus. Matthew 16:24-25
- I am compassionate and giving.
- I will become more in control of my sexual urges
- I live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 12:7
- I am about to start a new life, free from alcohol
- It is great to spend quality time with real people
- It is by the grace of God and his love that I am saved by my faith. Ephesians :5
- I am starting to enjoy the taste of fruits and vegetables
- Listening to my partners feelings is very important to me
- I will live a life free from sex addiction
- I have great joy because I obey God’s commands and remain in His love! John 15:11
- I appreciate and cherish myself more and more every day
- When I have a problem, I reach out for help.
- God pours out his love into my heart by the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5
- I am finding it easier to only eat when I am hungry
- I will take responsibility for my own actions
- The Lord is my good Shepherd. He provides for all my needs. Psalm 23:1
- I was made in the image of God. How cool is that! Genesis 1:27
- God reveals his spiritual truths to me by his Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:13
- In God I live and move and exist. Acts 17:28
- Building a healthy relationship is worthy of all effort
- I may never win an Olympic medal, but I’ve won a crown of everlasting joy because I know Christ. Isaiah 51:11
- I continue to work out my full salvation as God works in me according to his good purpose. Philippians 2:12-13
- God does not look at my outward appearance. He looks at my heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
- I am becoming a strong individual with healthy habits
- I am transforming into someone who is responsible with food
- I am becoming more and more aware of the beautiful things in my life and life in general.
- As I lose my life for Jesus’ sake, I find it. Matthew 10:39
- I believe I can walk in victory!
- I am going to devote my time to activities that will contribute to my future
- I am turning into someone who is in control of their life
- Because I seek the Lord with all my heart, I lack no good thing Psalm 34:10
- When I humble myself before God in prayer, he hears me, and I gain understanding. Daniel 10:12
- Having a healthy and loving relationship is just a normal part of my life
- I will stop comfort eating
- I will forgive myself for everything I’ve done
- My Higher Power gives me the strength I need at every moment.
- I will see people as human beings and not as sex objects
- If I don’t stand firmly in my faith, I won’t stand at all. Isaiah 7:9
- I am transforming into someone who is happy and peaceful
- I will always choose nutritious food over junk food.
- I believe I can become part of a special group that enters the winner’s circle!
- I can keep my ways pure, but only by living according to God’s Word. Psalm 119:9
- Drawing boundaries and fostering respect is important
- I release the guilt I felt for playing computer games
- I am finding myself more positive about overcoming my addiction
- I am committed to my recovery.
- I give my anxieties to God and know that he’ll take them because he loves me. This gives me peace. 1 Peter 5:7
- I will develop a healthy relationship with my partner
- The Lord stands at my side and gives me strength to share his Good News with others. 2 Timothy 4:17
- I am starting to realize that food is not the answer to a problem
- I will be spending my time with positive and supporting people
- I am turning into someone who is in control of their urges
- As I lose my life for Christ’s sake, I find true life in him. Matthew 10:39
- I am free from my alcohol addiction
- I choose to trust that all will be fine.
- I will find a healthier way to deal with negative emotions
- I am protected by the name of Jesus. John 17:12
- I can respectfully communicate my feelings
- I am the most important person in my life and I will do everything I can to make my life the best it can be
- I want to reach my God-designed destiny!
- If I don’t stand firmly in my faith, I won’t stand at all. Isaiah 7:9
- I am becoming freer of my sex addiction
- God blesses me with peace and gives me strength. Psalm 29:11
- I will have no need for midnight snacks
- I am happy with who I am
- As I wait on the Lord and am courageous, God will strengthen my heart. Psalm 27:14
- I love myself and others unconditionally
- I am becoming someone with a strong will power
- I am becoming stronger in so many ways each day.
- I try to spend time with wise people. This helps me become even wiser. Proverbs 13:20
- God’s ultimate desire is for me to be a champion in this life and eternally!
- I am a smart and successful person.
- I am a positive person, always looking at the bright side of things.
- I set my heart and mind on things above, not earthly things. This gives me peace. Colossians 3:1-2
- I am confident in who I am.
- I am enjoying the road of recovery one day at a time.
- I feel super good about myself.
- I love God’s principles and meditate on them all day long. Psalm 119:97
- The only one who controls my life and my time is me
- I release the victim mentality. I take responsibility for every area of my life.
- I am taking my life in my own hands
- Because God’s Spirit lives in me, my spirit is alive, and I have true life. Romans 8:11
- I am committed to my recovery.
- I will respect and nurture my body
- I love myself and others unconditionally.
- Because of what Christ did on the cross at Calvary, I’m able to have a new life. John 10:10
- I choose to trust that all will be fine.
- I am worthy of abundant love from myself and others.
- My Higher Power gives me the strength I need at every moment.
- I follow Jesus, no matter where he leads me. Matthew 6:20
- I will express my wants and needs clearly
- I am becoming more and more aware of the beautiful things in my life and life in general.
- I am taking care of my body
- I am a CHAMPION!!!!

- When I have a problem, I reach out for help.
- I have life, now & eternally, because of God’s grace. It’s not because of anything I have done. Eph 2:8-9

- I have the anointing of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. He teaches me truth and empowers me to live a full life. 1 John 2:27

- Champions excel because they persevere; they go above and beyond the ordinary to achieve the extraordinary.
- As I get older I get more and more confident with all of who I am
- Because I place my hope in the Lord my strength is renewed. Isaiah 40:31
- I am a smart and successful person.
- I am taking care of myself by getting enough sleep, eating well and being physically active
- I am getting a grip on my comfort eating
- I know the scripture, yes, but more importantly I know Jesus, and in Him I have life. John 5:39-40
- I can forget the past and move on with my life
- I need someone to see my hidden potential, to see the champion inside of me.
- I am a positive person, always looking at the bright side of things.
- Today, I can stay in control
- My willpower is strengthening
- I am becoming stronger in so many ways each day.
- My self-esteem is higher than it ever has been
- Some champions seek personal glory. Others seek to give God glory. It’s a daily decision.
- I express my emotions in a healthy way.
- My circle of people I care about is getting bigger and more enjoyable
- I deserve a happy relationship
- I will take control of my life
- I am building a healthy relationship to food
- I forgive myself and anyone else that has hurt me through the years.
- I am a confident person who can achieve anything
- The key to my fruit-bearing life is hearing God’s truth and understanding it. Matthew 13:23
- I am confident in who I am.
- I choose friends that are supportive and affirming of me.
- Honest communication is one of my natural strengths
- And so…I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you Romans 12:1
- Because I have written love and faithfulness on the tablet of my heart I have favor with God. Proverbs 3:3
- The “fullness of God” is available to me because I am deeply rooted in the love of Jesus. Ephesians 3:17-19
- As I give up control, release my life 2 God and allow Jesus to live through me, God-sized things happen. Galatians 2:20
