God is building champions for victorious living -- and YOU are one of them!
We're hearing incredible stories of how families gathered around the Lord's Table on this past Sunday; many families who, in some cases, had not attended a worship service together in years. And while this is a challenging time for all of us, it's also a time of discovering new, innovative ways to worship and fellowship. God is teaching us what it truly means to be a Family of Champions.
We have an exciting Holy Week planned for you, as we embark on a journey we're calling, the ROAD TO RESURRECTION. Sometimes we lose sight of the dynamics of the universal church. In spite of the challenges, fears and pains of this season of global pandemic, Christians around the world will STILL celebrate the goodness and glory of the resurrected Lord. Holy Week is NOT cancelled.
Leading into Resurrection Sunday, April 12th, we will broadcast nightly beginning on Wednesday, April 8th at 7pm, Thursday @ 7:30pm and Good Friday @ 8pm. Note the different worship times each night. Then, on Sunday, April 12th at our regular worship times, 7am, 9:30am and 11:45am, we'll celebrate the power of resurrection, like never before!
I will join Pastor Luke MacDonald and Pastor John-Paul Foster during their regularly scheduled broadcasts, as we reflect on the events surrounding the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We'll take a closer look at the Easter story through the eyes of significant Biblical characters and be blessed by some "flashback worship" from some of the nation's top gospel artists. For this week, we'll replace Friday night Comedy Cafe with a special Good Friday presentation of "flashback worship" and word. On Good Friday, I will share an encouraging word, a view from the Cross, which I believe will be a blessing to you for such a time as this. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT! Additionally, I have been asked to participate in an Easter special on a national broadcast on the new FoxSoul network. Check the FoxSoul website for details. God is good.
This week we remember the sacrifice of Jesus on a hill called Calvary and celebrate the victory he provided all of us, early, you know you have to say it twice, I said early one Sunday morning--when he rose with all power, in heaven and on earth, in His hands.
In a world of uncertainty, it's a blessing to know that God is the same yesterday, today and forever more! I'm reminded of the lyrics of one of the great hymns of the church--
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
there is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not,
as Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided--
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
In His Name,
HOLY WEEK WORSHIP EXPERIENCE
There is no other day of the year that holds the significance of Resurrection Sunday. What they celebrated then is what we continue to celebrate today, over 2000 years later. We serve a risen Lord!
Yes, we are "sheltering in place" and "safer at home"; but while this is a time of social distancing, this is not a time for spiritual distancing. In this season, we will draw closer to the Lord. We will stand and rejoice. We will strengthen our prayer lives. We will dig deeper. This is our time to RISE!
Even though we aren't able to gather physically, we will gather together all over the world on our online campus--on our website, Facebook page and YouTube channel for a historic week we're calling THE ROAD TO RESURRECTION.

The global COVID-19 crisis has impacted us all in different ways; but as believers, we know exactly what to do. Pray!
So, on Thursday, April 9th starting at 6:00 am until Friday, April 10th at 6:00 am, we're asking everyone, everywhere to pray right where you are, in accordance with the "shelter in place" or "safer at home" directives.
Your help is needed to keep this 24-hour period of prayer going, so here's what we're asking you to do:
- Choose anytime to pray between 6:00 am Thursday, April 9th until 6:00 am Friday, April 10th.
- What you pray about and how long you pray is completely up to you.

A GIVING HEART
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
That familiar passage of scripture reminds us that we're never more like God than we love and when we give. Why do we give? One, because we serve a God who demonstrated his love for us, by giving his only Son. And two, we give because we're grateful. Despite the circumstances and in spite of the challenges, we still have a grateful heart. We do as David declares in Psalm 34--"I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth."
During this challenging season, your support helps us to spread the gospel of Jesus across the globe and allows us to continue to hold up those ministries and programs we support around the world.
