God is building Champions for victorious living, and you are one of them. You will victoriously come through this season of challenge.
Thank you, thank you for your prayers and participation in our Resurrection week services. Hats off to our media team led by Ogden Bass and my “preaching partner”, Derrick Pete. These guys and their teams, as well as Makebra Bridges and Brandi Redick are due honor above for their tireless efforts in helping us continue to reach beyond the four walls of The Tabernacle into the world of the internet and cyberspace. I am still learning how to do church via the various digital platforms, but I could never do it without these gifted partners and their teams.
One of my friends, Dr. Phil Cooke is an award winning Christian producer/director who has been praying for us and advising me as I/we venture into the dimension of the digital. He advises that viewership numbers should account for family gatherings and multiple viewers at one location. With that insight and with humble gratitude to God that I inform you that we had over 33,000 viewers of our Holy Week services from Wednesday through Sunday. God is so good. Thank you so very much for sharing and “friending” (lol is that the right term) your friends and family members. We have viewers as far away as South Africa, Hong Kong and London and across the nation. God is good.
Additionally, I want to thank you for your continued financial support of our ministry, and especially your support for me and my family through the line item “pastoral care”. We have been able to continue the operation of our various ministries with no layoffs or significant financial dips. Because of your faithfulness in giving, we have partnered with business owners and longtime faithful members, Vince and Dr. Arlene Williams and their restaurant, Honey’s Kettle and provided dinner for the evening Emergency Room and ICU crew of Centinela Hospital of Inglewood. Our plan is to serve these frontline medical professionals as part of our community outreach during these challenging times. Thank you, thank you.
Be sure to tune in this weekend, as I share with you how the Lord wants to stretch our faith and grow us during these difficult times. I want to stimulate your trust in the Lord, challenge your sanctified imagination and give you opportunities to be on the lookout for demonstrations of the faithfulness of our Lord. Remember our Lord is King of Kings and the King ALWAYS has one more move!
Blessings on you,

FCBC SELFIE SUNDAY
Keep sending those pictures and videos of you and your family demonstrating that your house is a house of prayer. It's been a blessing to see how people are praying through this crisis. An easy way to get your pictures or videos to Faithful Central is to inbox or direct message us or you can use #FCBCSelfieSunday in your post, but don't forget to make the post public so we can see it.
A GIVING HEART
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
That familiar passage of scripture reminds us that we're never more like God than we love and when we give. Why do we give? One, because we serve a God who demonstrated his love for us, by giving his only Son. And two, we give because we're grateful. Despite the circumstances and in spite of the challenges, we still have a grateful heart. We do as David declares in Psalm 34--"I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth."
During this challenging season, your support helps us to spread the gospel of Jesus across the globe and allows us to continue to hold up those ministries and programs we support around the world.
Your gifts can be mailed to our Administrative Office (Attn: Stewardship) at 333 W. Florence Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90301. Please remember to include your first and last name, as well as your mailing address and mobile phone number, so we can allocate your donation accurately. Additionally, for your convenience, you can also use our electronic giving platform, click here or you can text the word GIVE to (833) 321-3222 and follow the prompts. So, you can mail it, text it or click it (on our website).
We've also compiled a comprehensive list of resources to help you navigate through this challenging time. If you or someone you know needs access to these resources, feel free to share them.
