Music & Arts
“…to see God through our music, to hear God through our music, to feel God through our music and to know God through our music…” This is our heart’s mission.
The Music & Creative Arts Ministry consists of a combination of voices and talents from our unique members: Men of Praise, Voices of Faith, One Voice, Sacred Praise Chorale, the Praise & Worship teams, the Faithful Dance Company, FCBC Repertory, and the Faithful Central musicians.
It is the Music & Creative Arts Ministry’s weekly endeavor to prayerfully seek God’s instruction and direction in encouraging and producing an atmosphere of worship with the congregation. Although each choir offers a distinct sound, together they produce a spirit-filled harmony!
The choirs of the Music & Creative Arts Ministry’s repertoire features traditional and contemporary gospel, as well as African American sacred music such as: spirituals, anthems and hymns. The soulful sounds of worship from the FCBC Choirs and Praise & Worship teams can be heard on our cd “Zion Rejoice”.
With the aim of spreading the gospel to the nations, God has anointed Faithful Central to minister with Habitat for Humanity, the Israel Christian Nexus, Blue & White on Wilshire, the Knotts Berry Farm’s Gospel Showcase, the Taste of Soul on Crenshaw, BET’s Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Show, the Annual Holy Convocation with Bishop Gilbert Patterson, the Black Business Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center and the West Coast House of Blues “Gospel Brunch” on Sunset Blvd., just to share a few of these opportunities.
Our Vision is to be endowed by the Holy Spirit that God would be glorified, believers would be edified, and non-believers would be provoked unto Salvation!
