Ephesians 4:2-3

Father, I pray that I walk in humility of heart being patient with myself and others as I learn what unity looks like in every area of my life.

Luke 14:10-11

But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests.For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Father, I pray that I will cease from labor and striving today and delight in choosing the humble position before others.

Philippians 1:19-20

…for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

Father, I pray that my expectation of deliverance fuels rejoicing in the face of trials.

Psalm 34:17

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
    he delivers them from all their troubles.

Father, I rejoice knowing that I can always cry out to you, you hear me, and you deliver me from all my troubles.

2 Corinthians 4:8-11

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.

Father, I thank you for the life of Jesus being revealed in our mortal bodies as we experience various situations and afflictions.

1 Peter 4:12-13

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

Father let me not be surprised by the fiery ordeals I must face but help me to rejoice now knowing I will be even more joyful when your glory is revealed.

James 1:2-4

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Father, help me to see the many trials I face as opportunities to rejoice in the perseverance produced which will mature me and make me whole.

2 Corinthians 4:7

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

Father, help me to shine forth the light of the gospel without shameful ways or deception so that as I do the work you have given me, your power will be evident.

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.

Father, I rejoice knowing that you are an ever-present safe shelter I can hide in and my strength in times of trouble.

Philippians 1:10-11

so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

Father, I pray that all believers learn to approve that which is good and excellent we all would live blamelessly before You until Christ’s return.

Philippians 1:9

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight

Father, I pray that the love of my brothers and sisters in Christ would increase as they grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:7-8

It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

Father, I pray whatever I go through for the sake of the gospel, I will have joyful thoughts about fellow believers knowing we share God’s favor.

Philippians 1:3-6

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Father, I pray that I will rejoice in the good work You have done within me.

Acts 2:42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Father, I pray we will gladly do life together, in fellowship, learning Your word, praising You, taking care of each other’s needs.

Romans 1:11-12

I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong—that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.

Father, I pray that we will use the gifts you have given us to encourage one another.

Philemon 1:4-7

I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your love for all his holy people and your faith in the Lord Jesus. I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord’s people.

Father, I pray that the partnership based on our faith will produce full understanding of every good thing that is ours in union with Christ.

Romans 14:19

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Father, I pray that we would pursue what leads to peace with those around us, to that which builds each other up.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one,
    because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
    one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
    and has no one to help them up.

Father, I pray that we would not isolate ourselves and be friendly toward others. Please send us wise friends who will encourage us and hold us accountable.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

Father, I pray I that You would lead and guide us, especially students, teachers, administrators, and counselors in making good decisions.

2 Thessalonians 3:3

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

Father, I thank You for being my protector. Watch over and protect all those involved in the education system.
