Daniel 4:36-37
Having arrested Him, they led Him and brought Him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed at a distance. Now when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them... And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." So Peter went out and wept bitterly.
Daily Prayer
Father, I pray that mothers walk in humility, grace, and strength, knowing that even when they feel they have fallen short, Your mercy restores them and Your love continues to guide their hearts and their homes.
At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
Daily Prayer
Father, I thank You that You are sovereign over every circumstance even when I fall. I pray I will be repentant and live with humility and honor toward You.
